Our story
As a mama with a heart full of wanderlust and a lifelong love of Disney, I knew I wanted to give Lucy a childhood bursting with wonder—from castles and characters to sandy toes and spontaneous road trips. Whether we're walking down Main Street U.S.A. with a Mickey-shaped snack in hand, chasing seashells along the shore, or discovering hidden gems off the beaten path, each adventure becomes a treasured story we get to write together.
Mama’s Wonders and Whimsy was created to share the magic of those memories—and to help other parents find the joy, ease, and inspiration in traveling with little ones. This space is for you: the dreamers, the planners, the snack-packers and photo-snappers, who believe that family travel isn’t about perfection—it’s about presence, connection, and whimsy along the way.

Our history
Mama’s Wonders and Whimsy began as a few scribbled notes in a travel journal and a camera roll full of magical moments. What started as simple snapshots from our first Disney trip—Lucy in her Minnie ears, eyes wide with wonder—quickly turned into something more: a growing passion for helping other parents navigate the beautiful chaos of family adventures.
Over the years, we've journeyed from stroller naps in theme parks to barefoot beach days and everything in between. Along the way, I found myself creating checklists, packing guides, ride charts, and activity printables—anything to make travel more joyful and less overwhelming. Friends started asking for copies. Then friends of friends. And soon, Mama’s Wonders and Whimsy was born.
From those first family trips to today, our heart has stayed the same: to bring magic, memories, and a little more ease into every parent's travel plans. We've grown from a personal project into a community of parents who believe in the wonder of childhood, the power of planning, and the whimsy that happens when you just let go and explore.

Travel with Kids
It DOESN'T have to be daunting! My little one is one of those high needs kiddos-- everything is BIG and intense! We are a Disney fam at heart (don't knock the Mouse...) but also LOVE getting out to the waterpark, zoo, museums, and everything in between. I'll walk you through ways to survive those adventures-- and give you all the pro tips I have so you don't have to cross your fingers and hope!
